How hard are you going after your IT? Is someone else more excited about your Dream/Vision/Goals/Purpose than you? Are you willing to give IT your ALL... despite hard times, disappointments, setbacks, and all out just feeling like giving up and quitting?
Well we've been on our Getting After YOUR IT journey for 90 days officially. If you've been tuning in to our Getting IT Together - 365 Day Journey Podcast, you know it has NOT been all rosy. We started out with the excitement and enthusiasm of a young person fresh out of high school and/or college and when that waned, we dug in deep to keep up our discipline and persistence. You would think we'd been at this for years, but nope, its just the first 90 days.
We start to see how easy it is for us to get sidetracked and distracted from pursuing our goals after just a few months because it is HARD, but its also worth it. Personally, for me, doing this 365 Day Journey Podcast holds me accountable to me and a whole bunch of faceless, nameless mes'. Its been challenging to keep myself focused and on track. In the past I have started and stopped pursuits and as I get older its just depressing to realize I haven't accomplished much. I could go in to great detail about why and how, but at the end of the day, I made the decision, passively and not, to not pursue my goals. Those goals I did go after got lost after so much time or becoming too difficult, or so I thought, to complete.
I'm older now and I do realize what I want and I am determined to go after IT and succeed or die trying. With this mindset, I am pushing past myself, my comfort zone, what I know, what I think I know and just going hard. I have to tell you I have had some restless nights, some physical nausea, and self-doubts all along the way. I don't always make the best or even the right choices however, I understand that this is all part of the process. Those who have succeeded may have experienced these afflictions as well but they pressed on nonetheless. At the end of the day, I want my DESTINY (thanks Fred!) that

God Promised me, but there is a stipulation and that is Faith without Works is dead (Holy Bible, James 2:15-26). Therefore I must put in the work with my faith. I cannot, or should not, expect God to move on my faith without me putting in the work to be ready for the doors, windows and heavens He opens. So I invite you to join us as you take your journey to be encouraged, to hear some real talk and hold yourself accountable with our Getting IT Together - 365 Day Journey Podcast.
