F.E.A.R. = False Evidence Appearing Real

So... I usually post at least once a week, but this week my desire to truly live out my purpose and passion are driving me to go beyond my routine. FEAR, FEAr, FEar, Fear, fear.... The more you challenge that which you fear, the smaller that fear becomes until it no longer exists. As stated in the acronym in the title..fear is indeed false evidence appearing real. If we were to actually stop and dissect why we are afraid, or better yet, what we are afraid and/or who we are afraid of, we would blow its (fear's) cover. Fear is a lie or lies that others have fed us or we have fed ourselves. It comes from comparing ourselves to others and believing that "they" have some type of magic that makes them so great. Well...we each DO have that same magic in us, we just have to DECIDE to act on it. There's an old saying that goes, "there are a lot of great ideas and talent in the graveyard," somber but true. So many people have had great ideas and awesome talent but never act on them. They may have lacked the discipline or the resources to realize them, but usually they lack the courage to get up and at least try. How different could your life be if you just took a chance? The negative and fearful thoughts that consume us could very easily be replaced with positive ones, but we have to make an effort. Why are we so fast to believe the worst about us? Notice I asked what we believe about us...not other people, because what other people think doesn't matter.

Consider this...if someone is constantly feeding you a string or plateful of lies, sowing fear into you about you and your life, ask yourself, what are they missing out on for themselves or better yet what DID they miss out on? That they are willing to poison you against yourself and your dreams. Another saying is "Misery loves company" and this is unfortunately too true. When people have not gone after their own dreams or they lacked the initiative to restructure their path or themselves when their original dream didn't work out, they usually lash out at anyone going after their dream. Its sad really, but its life. We have to weed through a field of "theys" while staying focused on our dreams, goals, visions, purpose and destiny. We can't allow ourselves to be pulled in to their fear making it our own. Here is a great article on 12 fears we need to be conscious of. Which one(s) do you deal with? Another thought to consider is even those individuals who have made "it" becoming successful as we interpret it, struggled and struggle with fear and yet they go after it anyway. Achieving your goals doesn't mean you don't deal with fear, it just means you don't allow it to stop you from Getting After Your IT. Take a Leap of Faith...instead of falling for fear.

Be Blessed ~ Favor, Peace & Blessings, Grace & Mercy in all that you do.

Take a Leap of Faith...instead of falling for fear.
